Frank Joseph Errera

Frank Joseph Errera, 89, of Walkersville, MD peacefully passed away on December 1, 2023. He was born on May 29, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Rose Gagalino Errera and Anthony Errera. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Norma Jean Errera in 1994 and his son, Frank Errera Jr. in 2021.

Frank was the loving husband to Wendy Errera for 28 years. Frank is survived by his brother Robert Errera,  children Deborah Valentine, David Errera, Mary Leggit, Earl Errera, and the late Frank Errera Jr., as well as step-children Qui Stewart, Dara Ruth, Jennifer Garey, Brad Tumy and Austin Shamlin; 23 grandchildren Jace Errera, Brian Moon, Elizabeth O’Keeffe, Erica Leggit, Amanda Ridenour, David Errera Jr., Thomas McGann, Nicholas Leggit, Hope Errera, Marcie Errera, Brandon Stewart, Carly Errera, Caroline McGann, Christopher Bieritz, Luke Errera, Anthony Errera, Maggie Tumy, Jonathan Bieritz, Ethan Tumy, Brandon Avila, Anthony Avila, Zachary Bieritz, and Ava Shamlin and 4 great-grandchildren Hannah O’Keeffe, Briella Parrott, Audrey Ridenour, Adam Stewart and many other extended  family members.

The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD and from 10:30-11:30AM on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD where a Mass will be celebrated at 11:30AM.

Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery, Frederick, MD.

Frank loved watching football and being surrounded by his family. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. His biggest achievement was being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
