Frank Bywaters, Sr.

Frank Edward Bywaters Sr., 95,  of Hagerstown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

In 2018, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Anna Catherine Moser Bywaters.

Born on October 5th, 1925 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Frank N. Bywaters and Lydia I. Hager Bywaters.

He was a lifelong member of the Longmeadow Church of the Brethren where he served as deacon along with many other duties.

Frank also served many years with Prison Ministry Fellowship making many trips to area prisons to share the gospel.

He is survived by one sister, Elva R. Flowers of Michigan. In addition to his sister, he is survived by his son, Frank E Bywaters, Jr. and his wife, Lenora, of Smithsburg; two daughters, Stephanie Bussard and her husband, Mike, of Boonsboro, and Suzanne Bywaters of Baltimore. He is survived by eight grandchildren, James Bussard, Justin Bussard, Heather Gouff, Tara Power, Cole Stevens,  Kyle Bywaters, Kara Stevens and Ryan Bywaters. In addition, he is survived by 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at noon on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Boonsboro Cemetery.
