Francis Stevenson "Pete" Davison

Francis Stevenson "Pete" Davison, 78, of North East, Md., died Friday, May 16, 2008 at Laurelwood Care Center in Elkton, Md.


Born February 26, 1930 in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Edward Wesley and Edith Agnes McNeave Davison.


He was employed by the National Poster as a lithographer.


He was an avid amateur radio operator as K3FCA.


He is survived by his wife, Delores J. "Dellie" Adams Davison, whom he married August 5, 1950; daughter, Denise Webster and husband, Mason, of North East; son, Franklin Davison of Boonsboro; brothers, Walter Davison of Hanover, Pa. and Joseph Davison of Florida; sister, Theresa Longo of Bel Air, Md.; grandchildren, Jennifer Uhrin, Heather Webster, Michael Uhrin, Cara Wagner and Alyssa Wagner; and seven great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by sister, Lottie Steinert; and brothers, Edward Davison and John Davison.


There will be no public viewing.


Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21 at Beaver Creek Cemetery in Hagerstown. The Rev. R. Thomas Fralin, Jr. will officiate.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care of Maryland, 133 N. Bridge St., Elkton, Md. 21921.
