Frances Jane (Crampton) Boyer, 91, formerly of Sharpsburg, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at NMS Healthcare in Hagerstown, MD.
Born on March 26, 1920 in Downsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Walter Sherlin and Carrie Virginia (Smith) Crampton. Her husband, Owen "Bill" Boyer, preceded her in death on September 11, 1982.
She is survived by her foster daughter, Kay L. Dick of Hagerstown.
Private services will be held under the care of the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro, and Mrs. Boyer will be laid to rest with her husband at Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg.
