Frances D. Leith

Mrs. Frances D. Leith, 73 of Frederick, MD, died Monday, September 28th at her residence. She was the wife for 57 years to Franklin D. Leith.

Born in Karrs Creek, VA on March 30, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Sarah (Painter) and Jesse Tyler. Frances was retired from Pacemaker Printing as a book binder. As Matriarch of her family she loved to travel and camp, and mostly spend time with her loving family.

Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter, Jane D. Cartwright and husband Alex of Myersville, MD; two sons, Ken D. Leith and wife Patti of Bentonville, AR, and Gary D. Leith and wife Jill of Frederick, MD; her loving grandchildren, Christian Cartwright, Patrick Cartwright, Nicole Maluso, and Jennifer Weigman; great grandchildren, Madison Cartwright and Marcus Weigman; eight siblings, Mary Leith of Frederick, MD Shirley Mullens of New Windsor, MD, Jane Williams of Riva, MD, Sue Dell and Charlotte Greer of Gordonville, PA, Barbara Adams of Waldorf, MD, Larry Tyler of Summerville, SC and Kelly Hartman of Plant City,FL .

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.

Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 2nd at 11:00 AM with Pastor Lynn Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville, MD.
