After almost 7 decades together, two hearts were reunited in heaven. Frances and William J. Kausch Sr. went to be with the Lord within two weeks of each other.
Frances (Myers) Kausch, 96, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on February 22, 2020 at the Lorien Assisted Living Facility in Mt. Airy, Maryland. Her husband William John Kausch Sr., 94, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away shortly thereafter on March 6, 2020 at the same Lorien facility.
Frances was born on September 20, 1923 in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles Oscar Myers and Martha G. Walmsley Myers. After high school graduation, Frances worked at the Glenn L. Martin Company in Baltimore, MD (now part of Lockheed-Martin) helping support production of the B-26. Frances and Bill were married in 1951, and after marriage Frances became a homemaker, staying home to raise her two sons. She enjoyed being a member of the Christian Women's Club of Baltimore for many years.
William John Kausch, Sr. was born on October 21, 1925 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to the late Hans Theodore Kausch and Ruth Barnhart Kausch. He was an Eagle Scout by age 17. William proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II stationed on Okinawa. He worked as a stock broker for 40+ years. He enjoyed gardening in the yard and was especially fond of growing various rose bushes. He also continued to support several long-term financial clients as a part-time stock broker until the age of 85.
Frances and William were members of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Baltimore for over 50 years. Frances and William are survived by their two sons, William John Kausch, Jr. and Charles Theodore Kausch, his wife Susan and three grandchildren. William is also survived by his sister Mary Ellen Edeus of Florida. Frances and William were laid to rest at Parkwood Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
