Frances Widmayer

Peacefully departed on November 25, 2010. She will be remembered by all who loved her as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Frances, known affectionately to her late husband as "Fuzz," was a kind and gentle woman who selflessly cared for her family and friends in their times of need. She was the beloved mother of Linda Holmes (John), Wayne Widmayer (Routh), Gail Britt and Thea Harding.

She also is survived by five grandchildren: Steve Holmes (Sue); Ron Holmes (Tania); Kate Sullivan (Kevin); Sean and Teha Britt; seven great grandchildren: Brittney Shutta (Marc), Katlin, Ashlynn and Valerie Holmes, Alison, Rachel and Emily Holmes, and a sister, Bess Brickman (Jack).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Widmayer.

Memorial service  at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.

Family will receive visitors beginning at 12:00 noon.  In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Montgomery Hospice
