Frances Sands

Mrs. Frances Helen Sands, 81, of Thurmont, MD passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Russell Sands.
Born in Calexico, California on February 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Frances Schmidt Latham.
Helen worked as a contract administrator for Cerberonics. She enjoyed reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Helen was also very involved in her church.
She is survived by her three children Ann Sands of Thurmont, Susan Trudeau and husband George of Venice, CA and Russell Sands and wife Carla of Vist, CA; grandchildren Tara, Alyssa, Russell and Ryan and great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Mason.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 10 AM at Resthaven Memorial Gardens , 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway (US 15N), Frederick, MD. Deacon Skip Manley will be officiate.
