Frances Robinson

February 22, 1935 — January 20, 2011

Mrs. Frances Mary Boland Robinson, 75, of Thurmont, MD and a summer resident of Boothbay Harbor, ME, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY. She was the loving wife of James Patrick Mahoney Robinson celebrating their 54 th anniversary on January 19 th , 2011.

Born in Manhattan, NY on February 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth (Ryan) Boland. At the age of 42, Frances graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of New York at Stony Brook. She served the Frederick community as a realtor with Long and Foster Reality.

Loved by all that knew her, Frances had the gift of giving and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Besides her husband, survivors include three children; Laura Ann Robinson Goldsmith and husband Michael of Walkersville, sons, Barry P. Robinson and wife Pamella and Bryan Joel Robinson and wife Katherine all of Thurmont; six grandchildren, Shaun, Benjamin, James, Bailey, Shannon and Brandon; six great grandchildren; her siblings, Betty Carter of CT, Thomas Boland of NY, Mary Jane DeBourbon of CT and Brian Boland of Frederick, MD;

She was preceded in death by her sister Bridget Traynor and brothers Joseph and Patrick Boland.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25 th at 10:00 AM in the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD with her older son Barry officiating.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Frances’ name may be made to Montefiore Hospital, 200 East Gun Hill Road, Bronx, NY 10467, or to the charity of one’s choice.
