Frances Rebert

Mrs. Mary Frances Croghan Rebert, of Frederick, Maryland passed away peacefully Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Kline Hospice House in Frederick County MD. She was the wife of the late Philip N. Rebert who died on December 13, 2006 after 67 years of marriage.

Born March 27, 1919, in Frederick, Maryland to the late Michael J. and Hilda Brown Croghan.

Surviving are 5 daughters: Natalie (Nicky) Warner and husband Larry of Frederick, Michele Krantz and husband Richard of Frederick, Katrina Tregoning and husband John of Mt Prospect, Illinois, Patricia Quinn and husband Jeffrey of Rye, New Hampshire and Marti Willoughby and husband Darrell of Nichols, South Carolina.

In addition to her children she is survived by 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by a brother, John T Croghan of Frederick and sisters Patricia Warner of Pompano Beach, Florida and Casey Tolar of New York, New York.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael J Croghan, her sister Sarah C Mason and son- in-law, David Miller.

Mrs. Rebert graduated from Frederick High School and attended the Fashion Academy of New York City. She spent most of her life being a loving mother and wife, maintaining a home that was always open and welcoming to her family, her friends, her children’s friends and her neighbors.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at Somerford Assisted Living and Hospice of Frederick County for the wonderful and loving care of their mother.

As she requested there will be no services.
