Mrs. Frances T. Pellit, 98, of Mt. Airy, MD formerly of Philadelphia, PA and Pompano Beach, FL passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Lorien Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Pellit, Sr.
Born December 18, 1913 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Sobolewski Warren.
Mrs. Pellit was an avid walker and also enjoyed reading and swimming in her younger days. Frances formerly lived in Florida with her husband John for 25 years and they loved their time there.
She is survived by her daughter Marie Hebden and husband Ronald of Mt. Airy; grandchildren David J. Hebden of Manchester, MD and Mark S. Hebden and wife Erika of Finksburg, MD and great-grandson Zachary S. Hebden.
She is preceded in death by her son John Pellit, Jr.; her brothers John and George and her sisters Theresa and Anna.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 1125 St. Michael's Rd., Mt. Airy on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:30 AM the family will receive friends at St. Michael's one hour prior to the service. Father Michael Ruane will be the celebrant.
Interment will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne, PA.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Carroll County Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
