Frances G. Boehl

Frances G. Boehl, 72 , of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at  her residence surrounded by her family.

Born on January 24, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland , she was the daughter of the late William Glen Gore and Virginia Lee Rhodes Gore.

She was the loving wife of Lawrence Boehl, they were married 48 years.  Mr. Boehl passed away January 28, 2020.

Frances was an office manager in health care administration and she was a private duty nurse/CNA. She was also a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic  Church serving as past President and Vice President of Katie's Ladies at St. Katharine Drexel.  She was very proud of starting The Lazarus Project which helps men recently released from incarceration to acclimate successfully back into the community. When she wasn't serving the community she enjoyed baking, party planning, cooking and spending time with her family.

Frances is survived by her children, Matthew Charles Boehl and wife, Kara, Alicia Katryn Boehl, Lauren Frances Deyo and husband, Robert and Rachel Lee Chase and husband Dan; grandchildren, Joshua, Abbigale, Kassidy, Kasey, James, Faith, Kearstin, Gabriella and Leah and sisters, Katherine Skovira and Meg Gore.

She is preceded in death by her son, Ben Boehl and sister, Judy Gore.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 14, 2022  at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. 21702.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church at 12:30pm.  Father Keith Boisvert will officiate.  Interment will be private.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Katharine's Drexel Catholic Church  in care of the Lazarus Project.
