Floyd Eugene Shaff, 68, of Shaff Road, Rohrersville, Md., died Monday, November 10, 2008 at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 16, 1940 in Locust Valley, Md., he was the son of the late John V. and Margaret Irene Corum Shaff.
He was a well driller and was an equipment operator with N W Etzler Paving in Frederick, Md.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joanne B. Shaff; sons, Jeffrey E. Shaff and Ronald D. Shaff both of Rohrersville and Terry W. Shaff of Silver Spring, Md.; daughter, Lisa L. Carey of Altoona, Pa.; brother, John V. Shaff of Rohrersville; sister, Gloria R. Bolyard of Brunswick, Md.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth R. Shaff.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, November 13 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. Daniel L. Fraley will officiate. Burial will be in Brownsville Heights Cemetery, Brownsville.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
