Florence N. Robinson, 88, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Lorien in Mount Airy, MD
Born on July 4, 1929, in Reisterstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Walter R. Naylor, Sr. and Mattie Mae (Brothers) Naylor.
She was a 1947 graduate of Franklin High School.
She was the wife of the late Carroll W. Robinson for 63 years.
Florence was a charter member of the Rotary Inner Wheel for many years. She and her husband loved to dance and sponsored a women's duckpin bowling team. She enjoyed her family, friends, trips to the beach and attending family cook-outs. Florence looked forward to holidays and enjoyed the Christmas Bazaar shopping trips. She was always ready for the next adventure and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her brother, Walter R. Naylor, Jr. of Hampstead, MD; nieces and nephews, Walter B. Hann (Charlotte), Patricia H. Schunk (Jack), Gwyneth S. Hann (Ron), Erika Naylor, Sonja N. Davidson (Dale), Larry Van Sant (Joyce) and Sandra Stallings. She is also survived by 8 Great nieces and nephews and 12 Great Great nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her sisters, Gwyneth Naylor, Evelyn Naylor Orr, Vera Naylor Hann and Jayne Naylor Voss, sister in laws, Marjorie Van Sant (Hanford), Joanne Stallings (Harold) and one niece and two nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD.
A celebration of Florence's life journey will follow at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Stauffer Funeral Home. Chaplain Art Monroe will officiate. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Mount Airy, MD.
