Florence Grierson

Florence Mary (Flo) Grierson, 68, of Frederick, MD, formerly of Crofton, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 11, 2016, at her residence. She was the wife of Michael Grierson, her husband of 22 years.

Born on June 25, 1948, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Lucy Pullins. She was a long-time waitress for Kilarney House in Davidsonville, MD, as well as Hayman's Crab House and Adam's Rib both in Edgewater, MD. Florence was a graduate of Bladensburg High School. She enjoyed reading, but treasured spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by a sister, Jeannie Claffy

Surviving, in addition to her husband, her best friend, are four brothers: James, David, Michael and Billy Pullins; four sisters: Betty Myers, Linda Gunther, Caroline Hill and Frances Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Friday, November 18, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21701, where a memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
