Mr. Fletcher Taylor, 86, of Frederick, died on Saturday September 1, 2007, at the Golden Living Health Care Center, Frederick.
Born May 9, 1921, in Alabama, he was the son of the late Chester Taylor and Alberta.
Mr. Taylor served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Y. Edwards and husband Eddie L. of Frederick; two granddaughters, Shavonne R. Edwards of Parkville and Shalisha N. Edwards of Frederick; one sister, Ercile Lamar and husband Virgil of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers, Anderson Taylor of Atlanta, Ga., Willie James Taylor of Detroit, Mich. and Charter Taylor of Atlanta, Ga.; two aunts, Ovetta Caver of Autaugaville, Ala. and Dora Taylor of Detroit, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his ex-wife Ruby L. Taylor; two daughters, Patricia and Francine Taylor; granddaughter, Danielle N. Edwards; step mother, Julia B. Taylor; brothers, James Adam Taylor and Chester Taylor Jr.; and one sister, Beulah Taylor.

Services: Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with the Rev. Tim May officiating.
