Fay Webster

July 25, 1935 — February 10, 2014

Ms. Fay “DeDe” L. Webster, 78, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed away  Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Catherine’s Nursing Home.

Born July 25, 1935 in Franklinville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Chester Allen and Lottie Marie Cline Stull.

Mrs. Webster was a lifetime member of Weller United Methodist Church where she served on many committees  and sang in the choir. She attended Waynesboro Business School and in earlier years,  she worked at Mount St. Mary’s Library and retired from Worthington Pump Co.    She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She also  loved to  travel, go to dinner theaters, paint, make dolls, walk and read. She was a member of Thurmont Senior Center

She is survived by her children Dale Webster and wife Sherri of Thurmont, Cheryl Bowman and fiancé Norman Loeb of Potomac and Lori Bell of Frederick, grandchildren Michele Parsley and husband Thomas of Jacksonville, NC, Joshua Cooney of Frederick and Julien Webster of Thurmont,  great grandchildren Christopher Ranck, Elizabeth Ranck, Sara Parsley and Liam Cooney, her siblings Clifford Stull and wife Margie, Jim Stull and wife Carolyn, Nancy Stull, Chester Stull, Priscilla Nash and husband Charlie and Shirley Lantz and husband Richard,  her aunt Clara Schumacher, and many nieces and nephews.  The family  wish to thank her special nieces Diana Stull, Debbie Stull and Joan Staub for their help.  She was preceded in death by her sisters Catherine Bledsoe and Clara Jean Late.

The family will receive friends at Weller United Methodist Church, 101 N. Altamont Ave., Thurmont, MD,  on Saturday, February 15, from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am with Pastor  Bob Kells officiating.
Interment Blue Ridge Cemetery
