Evelyn V. Schattenberg

Mrs. Evelyn V. Schattenberg, 85, of Frederick, MD., died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Tranquility at Fredericktowne. She was the wife of the late Donald B. Schattenberg.
Born September 19, 1924 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lucy Barrett Kemp.
Mrs. Schattenberg was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
In earlier years, she worked as a supervisor at Jeanne Bussard and also was an avid bowler at Terrace Lanes.
She is survived by her sons Charles Don Schattenberg and wife Denise of Adamstown, Ron Schattenberg and wife Pat of Walkersville and James R. Schattenberg of Frederick, seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Charles Kemp and her sister Anna Kemp.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, March 21, from 6 - 8:00 p.m.
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 22, 11:00 a.m.
Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
