Mrs. Evelyn B. Martin, 92 of Clarksburg, Maryland passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late Franklin L. Martin who passed away in 2001.
Born April 23, 1920 in Frederick, MD she was the daughter of the late Claude and Catherine Droneburg.
Evelyn retired from Holiday & Tyler as a book binder. She enjoyed gardening and loved working in her flower garden. She also was a great baker and enjoyed the water.
Evelyn loved to laugh and always enjoyed having a good time.
She is survived by her seven children, Elwood Stull and wife Mary of the Eastern Shore, Earlene Voith and her significant other Joe of Damascus, David Stull of Frederick, Alice Komorosky and husband Ron of Lynchburg, VA, Frankie Childers and significant other Carroll of Clarksburg, MD, Janet Martin Clem and husband Robert of Middletown and Rebecca Martin Free and husband John of Centreville, VA, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her loving dog, Tonka.
She is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Leslie Hill and Elwood Stull, Jr and a brother, Claude H. Droneburg.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, August 16th from 6:00-9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 17th at 2:00pm with Rev. Tim May officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Evelyn’s name to a charity of ones choice.
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
