Evelyn Lewis

Evelyn Catherine Lewis,age 99, passed peacefully from this life on March 17, 2021 at Frederick Health and rehabilitation in Frederick Maryland. Evelyn Was born July 4, 1921 in Boonsboro Maryland. Later in life she moved to Thurmont where she became the wife of the late Clifford Clabaugh and then married Keefer Lewis senior. She is survived by three children Robert Clabaugh, Gary Clabaugh, and Hypatia Miller; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her two sons Richard Clabaugh  and Keefer Lewis Junior, as well as a brother.

Evelyn worked many years at Clair Frock clothing company and then after retirement worked at the Thurmont laundry. The family would like to thank all the staff at Frederick Health and rehabilitation for The care Evelyn received over the last seven years. The family invites friends to gather on Saturday, March 27 at 2 PM at patients home in Thurmont Maryland. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
