Mrs. Evelyn Regina Kelly, 81 of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the College View Center. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Kelly.
Born August 4, 1930 in Mt. Airy, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mabel Brashears Houck.
Mrs. Kelly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and working word search puzzles. The family want to thank Claire, her NP, for the special care she gave their mother at the nursing home.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy Abrecht and husband Marion, Jr. and her son Kevin Kelly and wife Dawn all of Frederick, grandchildren Ray Dorsey, Lindsay Kelly, Richie Kelly and Hayden Kelly.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, May 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where services will be held Monday, May 21, at 11:00 am.
Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
