Evelyn Culler

Mrs. Evelyn G. Culler, 85 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Fahrney-Keedy Nursing Facility in Boonsboro, MD. She was the wife of the late Wilbur D. Culler, Jr. who passed away in 2003.
Born September 3, 1926 in New Windsor, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Lewis Edward Green and the late Carrie Idella (Cashman) Green.
Evelyn was a member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren. She was very dedicated and active in the church. She was a member of the Christ Quest Sunday School Class, the Woman’s Guild, a former Deacon, the Church Clerk, the Treasurer and also a Sunday School Teacher. She also sang in the church choir for 35 years. She loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar.
Evelyn graduated from New Windsor High School in 1943 and attended Baltimore Business College. Over the years she worked as a bookkeeper, a homemaker, school bus driver and a Sr. mail clerk at Hood College.  She loved dogs, flowers and music.
She is survived by her two children, Michael D. Culler and wife Kathleen (Shillinger) Culler of Hopkinton, Massachusetts and Patricia C. Wiser and husband Rev. Tracy Lee Wiser, four grandsons, Wesley Aaron Wiser, Mitchell Dewitt Culler, Matthew Noah Wiser and Ethan Lucas Wiser.
In addition to her husband Wilbur she was preceded in death by 12 siblings.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, July 27th from 7:00-9:00PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 28th at 10:00AM with the Rev. James Flora officiating.
Interment will be in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Feagaville, MD.
