Mrs. Evelyn A. Bowens “Bessie” 83 of Frederick, MD went home peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at College View Nursing Home.
Born March 15, 1927 in Frederick she was the daughter of the late Elton and Flossie Hallman-Thompson.
She was a Methodist.
She leaves to cherish her memories five loving sisters and two loving brothers all of Frederick, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, one hour prior to the funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11:00AM with Bishop Merle Lyles officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
