Mr. Eugene E. Poole, 73, of Adamstown died on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Northampton Manor Center, Frederick. He was the Husband of Lucy B. Poole of Adamstown.
Born on April 30, 1936, in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Martin Poole. He was a licensed Real estate Broker, Appraiser, and Insurance Agent, working in commercial leasing and property management before retiring. Gene loved all sports: snow skiing, ice skating, roller skating, and in his early years ran track, played football, and was a life guard and scuba diver. He was a devoted Redskins Fan never missed watching a game and loved hard shell crabs and cold beer.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Christina M. Lynn and husband William M. Lynn of Frederick, and Benjamin T. Poole and his fiance Ileana Luaces of Chesapeake Beach, MD; 2 granddaughters: Jenna M. Lynn and Ashley D. Lynn both of Frederick; a sister, Anne McMullen of Fredericksburg, VA.

Services:
The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Wednesday, April 14, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim May officiating.
Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
