Eugene “Gene” Harold Mitchell II, 56, of Frederick, MD passed away on August 10, 2012 from diabetic complications.
Born in Clearfield, PA on June 22, 1956, Gene was the son of Eugene and Connie Mitchell.
Gene was a computer programmer who was attending the University of Maryland in pursuit of a BA in accounting. He was very active in the Boy Scouts for many years. Gene also enjoyed classic rock music, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Gene is survived by his daughter Brandi, and son Mitch.
He is also survived by his sister Michelle & husband Tom Fundock, a brother Bryon & wife Darlene, and brother Garth.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, August 13 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor Matthew Gregory will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
