Esther Strem Richards, 93 died November 22, 2007 at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center in Frederick, MD.
Mrs. Richards was a charter member of Christ Congregational Church and a member of their choir for 50 years. She belonged to the Silver Spring Women's Club, and enjoyed scrap booking, playing Bridge, and was Bingo Champion at Buckingham Choice.
She was employed as a technical writer/editor of Frederick Research Corporation and National Bureau of Standards from which she retired.
Mrs. Richards was born in Waltham, MA and was the daughter of the late Charles and Otilia (Carlson) Strem. She lived her entire married adult life in Washington, DC and Silver Spring, MD.
Her husband, Franklin J. Richards pre-deceased her in 2001. Survivors include two children, Carl Richards of Naples, FL and Ruth Ann Morrow of Warrenton, VA; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Colson.
She had a wonderful life with abundant blessings, a loving family and wonderful friends.
