Esther Marie Yingling

Mrs. Esther Marie Yingling, 88, of Frederick, Md., died Friday, November 17, 2006, at the Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late William C. Yingling.

Born August 6, 1918, in Cascade, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Edith Smith Miller.

She is survived by her children, William Harvey Yingling Sr. and wife Jo Ann of Frederick and Helen McElroy of Sykesville; four grandchildren, William H. Yingling Jr. of Frederick, John David McElroy of Reisterstown, Richard Shane McElroy of Sykesville and Aletha Marie McElroy of Taneytown; four great grandchildren, David McElroy, Kyle McElroy, Brandon McElroy and Amanda Rose Klemm; two sisters, Hazel Zinkhan and Betty Dingle; and brother, Robert E. Miller. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a son John Robert Yingling; a grandson Clint McElroy; two sisters Helen Bittner and Gladys Wolf; and two brothers Harry Miller and Richard Miller.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 P.M. on Monday, Nov. 20 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, Md.

Services: Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, Md. with Rev. Burnis Barrett officiating. Interment in Bethel Cemetery.
