Mrs. Esther J. Millard, 81, of Gettysburg died on Monday, June 21, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Washington, DC. in 1928 to the late Charles E. Williams and Matilda (Tillie) Cathering Haring Williams. She is survived by a son Gary G. Connelly and wife Judith of Asheboro NC, daughters Linda D. Montgomery and husband Michael of Frederick, Md., Theresa D. Connelly-Kavanagh and husband John Kavanagh of Piscataway, NJ., Sandra K. Ballash and husband Nelson (Bud) of Summerfield, Fl. Grandsons, Mitchell Connelly and wife Christina of Sophia NC, James G. Kendall III of Frederick, Md., Matthew Connelly and wife Lori of Ocala, Fl, Justin Ballash of Summerfield, FL. great grandchildren, Kayla, Izabella and Hunter Connelly. She is also survived by a sister Mary Williams of Washington, DC.
She will be lovingly remember by her companion Paul Haller of Biglerville, Pa. Preceded in death by husbands Roland C. Connelly and Merle W. Millard and siblings Charles, John, Frances and Emma Williams.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, June 25, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where services will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert S. McEllroy of Bendersville Lutheran Parish officiating.
Interment will take place in Brownsville Heights Cemetery, Frederick
