Esther Foster

Born on April 27, 1953, in Frederick County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Madeline V. (Springer) Grams.

Esther was a 1972 graduate of Brunswick High School.  She was a homemaker most of her life and was a member of the Sharpsburg Bible Church.

She loved family and enjoyed her many nieces and nephews.  She especially enjoyed family visits, phone calls, country music, as well as gospel and family shows on television.   She will be deeply missed by her family.

Esther is survived by her husband, Downing Foster; three brothers, Vernon Grams of Middletown, Maryland, Leslie Grams of Hagerstown, and David Grams of Kearneysville, West Virginia; and five sisters, Mary Masser of Venedocia, Ohio, Eunice Parsons of Hedgesville, West Virginia, Ruthie Zepp of Williamsport, Maryland, Dorothy Gross of Hagerstown, and Lydia Mae Stewart of Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence "Tommy" Grams and Howard "Sonny" Grams; and two nephews, Randy Zepp and Howard Lynnie Grams.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Sharpsburg Bible Church at Potomac and Antietam Streets in Sharpsburg, Maryland.  Rev. Gene W. Renner will officiate.  Final resting place ceremonies will follow at the Locust Valley Bible Church Cemetery in Middletown.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
