Ernest R. Davies, 67 of Jefferson, MD formerly of California died Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born October 6, 1939 in Kittanning, PA he was the son of the late Ernst Gordon and Marcella Davies.
He was a retired member of the Washington DC Police Department. After his retirement he moved to California were he became an actor. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Arts.
He was survived by a son, Ernest J. Davies and wife Mary of Jefferson, MD and daughter, Leigh Ann Logan and husband James of Laurel, MD three grandchildren, Anna Davies, Avery Logan and Savannah Logan, and two sisters, Brenda Held and Kelly Delaney.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with the Rev. Lawrence K. Frazier officiating.
