Ernest R. Aylor

Mr. Ernest R. Aylor, 77, of Frederick, died on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 24, 1931 in Virginia he was a son of the late Lewis W. and Maude F. ( Miller ) Aylor.
Mr. Aylor was employed as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic, retiring from Dorset Excavating, after many years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and especially making furniture. An outdoors man, he was a skilled hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are two brothers; Willie N. ylor, Lewis W. Aylor, Jr. and wife Linda, of Frederick, four sisters; Virginia F. Hildebrand, of Frederick, Remona D. Spalding of Charleston, AR, Judith A. Hughes and husband Monte of Broadway, VA, Rose M. Hahn and husband Larry of Frederick, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary J. Cason and Martha L. Rhoades, three brothers; Lindbergh, William A. and Bryant E. Aylor.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Thursday, November 13th, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
