Mr. Enos "Buddy" Lee Collins, 92, of Knoxville, MD passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at the VA in Martinsburg. He was the husband of the late Ruth Collins.
Born May 10, 1922 in Ripley, TN he was the son of the late Grant Collins and Annabell Kellar.
Buddy proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. During that time he survived losing 2 ships. He most recently worked as an Electronics Engineer. In his spare time he loved working on his Thunderbird and his boat. He often fiddled with electronics and enjoyed fixing things.
He is survived by his children Jeannette Murray and husband Mike of Germantown, Marlene Bowers and husband Robert of Yarrowsburg, Deborah Collins and fiance James of Yarrowsburg, Joe Collins of Yarrowsburg and Jeannie Rodbell and husband Ivan of South Port, NC; grandchildren Gene Deener, Tracy Bowers, Melissa Wise, Jen Drosfield, Michelle Murray, Sam Rodbell, Chloe Rodbell and Sabrina Collins; four great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Sue Nelson, A.G. Hart, Elmer Nelson, Thelma Nelson, James Nelson and William Nelson. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Dorothea Collins.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at 10AM.
Interment will follow at Park Heights Cemetery.
