Mrs. Emma Ida ( Egolf ) Dauber, 100, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Homewood at Crumland Farms. She was the wife of the late Carl Wilhelm Dauber, Jr.
Born on November 19, 1906 in Washington, DC , she was the only child of Matilda Clara and Wilhelm August Egolf.
Mrs. Dauber grew up in Foggy Bottom , later moving to 14th and Shepherd St. where her father owned a delicatessen. The first half of her life was spent in D.C, the secolnd half in Silver Spring, Wheaton and Frederick, MD. She was a long time member of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in DC, later joining Jehovah's Witnesses. She was always devoted to her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her daughter Caryl Barnett and son-in-law Ronald Barnett,eight grandchildren, Ronald Barnett, Jr. and wife Deloris, James Barnett and wife Shelley,
Diana Barnett, Patricia Rogers, William Barnett and wife Mary, Gail, Linda and Nancy Spiece, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services: Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, Dec. 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with services beginning at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Linda Healy will officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Washington, DC.
