Emma Maggi

Emma Frances Maggi, 76, of Rockville, MD, formerly of Jefferson, MD, died Monday, December 7, 2015 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
Born January 21, 1939 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Alton and Norma Marie Beall Deavers. She will be sorely missed by her husband of nearly 58 years, Alfred Francis Maggi.
Emma was employed as a judicator for the federal government.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Deborah A. Mahoney of Frederick, and sons, Victor Anthony Maggi of Woodsboro, Steven James Maggi of Boonsboro and Kenneth Francis Maggi of Jefferson; grandchildren, Jennifer Maggi, Justin Maggi and Kristen Mahoney; great-granddaughter, Savannah Duncan; brothers, Bob Deavers, Jim Deavers, Harry Deavers and Stewart Deavers.
She was loved by all that knew her and touched everyone's heart in a special way. Her favorite thing to do was to go to the ocean and go shopping. She cherished her family and everyone around her. We love you mom.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Mt. Olivet FSK Chapel at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the cemetery chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick.
