Mr. Elmer Glen Hupp, Jr., 76, of Frederick, MD passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Thelma Jenese Weidman Hupp.
Born June 15, 1936 in Wichita, KS he was the son of the late Elmer Glen Hupp, Sr. and Elizabeth Bone Hupp.
Mr. Hupp proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he did photography. Elmer was a salesman and worked for Geico, Routzhans and F& M Bank. He enjoyed watching television and gardening.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Elmer Glen Hupp, III of Bunkerhill WV and his children Derek Cornell Hupp and Heather Lynn Hupp Ausherman , his daughter Peggy Ann Miles and husband Brian of Rockville, MD and their son Jared Lemuel Miles and "children" Michael Edward Schwartz and James Ross Mills also daughter Connie Marie Hupp of Frederick; brother-in-law Clarence Howell of Wichita, KS and numerous adoring nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his granddaughter Mallory Leann Hupp; his sisters Gladys Orr, Lucille Harper and Virginia Howell and his brother Jimmy Hupp.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, November 16 from 11-2PM where a funeral service will begin at 2 PM. Pastor Sandra Shaw of Living Faith Lutheran Church, Rockville will officiate.
Interment will follow at Glade Cemetery.
