Mrs. Elizabeth “Liz” Anne Tarver, 50, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Kline Hospice House. She was the wife of Carlton M. Tarver, Sr., his wife of 25+ years.
Born April 22, 1964 in San Francisco, CA., she was the daughter of Jerrie Hubbuch (husband Edward) of IA and Brad Johnson (wife Ruthann) of IL.
Mrs. Tarver was employed as an Event Manager for A.O.P.A. She loved traveling, red wine and was an avid bowler.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children Vanessa Tarver of Frederick and Maurice Tarver of Germantown, two brothers Jon Johnson (Brenda) of IA, Peter Johnson of CA, two step-sisters Elizabeth Miller (Jeffrey) of WI., Jenny Fuller (Paul) of OH and step-brother Jamison Hubbuch of AZ., She was preceded in death by her step-father John P. Sergio.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, June 6, at 11:00 am. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am until service time. Pastor Darren Gerald will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name, may be made to Kline Hospice House, 7000 Kimmel Road, Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
Interment will be private.
