Elizabeth Virginia Socks, 97, of Beltsville, MD passed from this life on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 She was the beloved wife of the late William G Socks.
Born on January 24, 1923, in Boonsboro, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ralph O.J. and Vera E. (Nunamaker) Shifler.
She graduated from Boonsboro High School in 1942. Elizabeth was a member of Benevola United Methodist Church, Boonsboro, MD. Her working career was spent as a small parts inspector for Fairchild / Rohr and from which she retired.
She is survived by daughter, Diane E. Snider and husband Glenn of Beltsville, Maryland, 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Channon and James DeBerry, Jared and Thaise Snider and Ethan and Melissa Snider and 5 great-grandchildren, Gabriela Snider, Charlotte DeBerry, Magnolia DeBerry, Nora Snider and Benjamin Snider.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
