Mrs. Elia F. Leonard of Walkersville, passed away on January 1, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Walter E. Leonard.
She was born in Lee, Mass on December 2, 1922 to the late Carlo and Nina Fresia,
She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church Walkersville.
She is survived by her devoted son Carl W. Leonard of Walkersville. One sister Ann Marie Aldrich, of Shrewsbury, Mass. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by brothers Emilio, Dante, Michael, and Charles Fresia, sisters Louise Marchand and Eris Young,
Memorial Services will be held in February at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD 21793 at a later date to be announced. Graveside services will be held in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick, 1:00pm, Monday, 06 January 2013
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Timothy Catholic Church at the above address.
