Mrs. Eleanore Sue Moran, 77, of Frederick, MD passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born August 20, 1934 in Clarksburg WV, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Edgell and Loma Alice (Riffle) Montgomery. Mrs. Moran was a product demonstrator for Sam's Club for 15 years before retiring. Sue grew up in West Virginia and was married in Mill Creek, then raised her own family in Montgomery County MD, where she lived for 25 years. Since then, she has spent 10 years in Salisbury, MD, and 27 years in Frederick County, MD. She loved nature, the mountains and all animals, especially horses. Sue enjoyed traveling, collecting teddy bears, but mostly loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are 2 children: Michael W. Moran and wife Kathy (Herford) of New Market, and Aletha K. Clark and husband Jeffrey of Salisbury; 2 grandchildren: David R. Clark and wife Hana (Seo) of New York City and Cory A. Clark of Baltimore; a niece Crystal (Roby) Davis and husband Alan of Davidsonville. Mrs Moran was preceded in death by a son, Stephen D. Moran, a daughter, Teresa Lynn Moran and a sister, Doris (Montgomery) Roby. Sue will also be remembered by her former husband, Osborn "Dee" Moran and wife Bobby of Berea KY.
Graveside services and interment will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 10, at Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Veirs Mill Rd., Rockville MD with her grandson, Rev. David Clark officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the local chapter of the American Red Cross of one's choice.
