Eleanor M. Rector

Eleanor M. Rector, 87, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, February 10, 2025 at home. 

Born on December 18, 1937, in Upstate New York, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Brescoe Pysher. In 2015, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doug. 

After 35 years of employment, Eleanor retired from IBM. 

She is survived by her only child, a daughter, Karrie Rice, of Frederick; three granddaughters, Sheri Brown, Kelia Schramm and Alaina Schramm, both of Frederick; and two great-granddaughters, Patience and Presley Johnson of Anchorage, AK. 

Eleanor was preceded in death by her younger sister, Carol Pysher. 

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
