Eleanor M. O'Rangers

Eleanor M. O'Rangers, 87, of Adamstown, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Frederick Health Hospital. 
She was the wife of the late John J. O'Rangers, Jr. who died in 2013.

Born on May 12, 1935, in Ashley, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clement J. and Helen Strinkoski Jablonski.

Eleanor was a Registered Nurse and a graduate of St. Joseph's Nursing School in Reading, PA. Her last position was the plant nurse at Eastalco in Adamstown, serving from 1986-98.
She was a member of St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor Catholic Church. Eleanor loved spending time with her cat "Sabbie" who passed on the day after Christmas.

Surviving are two children: Eleanor A. O'Rangers of Belcamp, MD and, John R. O'Rangers of Adamstown; her sister, Rosalie Falchek of Richboro, PA as well as a niece Rosalie Falchek-Kirk and a nephew Raymond  Falchek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor Catholic Church, 5843 Manor Woods Road, Frederick, MD 21703. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
