Elaine E. Rohrer

Elaine Eva Stottlemyer Rohrer, 76, of Boonsboro, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Fahrney - Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro. 

Born on October 9, 1946, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow A. and Eva O. Huffer Stottlemyer. Her husband, Grayson Melvin Rohrer, passed away on March 13, 2007. 

Elaine was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. 

She is survived her daughter, Teresa Rohrer of Boonsboro; and her son, Joseph Rohrer and his wife, Jessica, of Keedysville; two grandchildren, Philip Hershberger and wife, Lynsey, and Bradley Hershberger; and three great-grandchildren, Skylar, Paisley, and Abigail; brothers, Elwood, Richard, and Gary Stottlemyer; and her lifelong friend, Lorraine Eccard.

Elaine was preceded in death by her sisters, Imogene "Beanie" Fraley and Darlene Stottlemyer. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro with Pastor Ken Harris officiating. Final resting place ceremonies will be held at Boonsboro Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 29th at the funeral home in Boonsboro.
