Edward W. "Ed" Feeser

March 2, 1927 — July 20, 2018

Edward W. "Ed" Feeser, 91, of Frederick died Friday, July 20, 2018 at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro. He was the loving husband of Mary Catherine Cashour Feeser.

Born February 3, 1927 in Pleasant Valley, Westminster, he was the son of the late Harry R. and Ruth Ann (Crowl) Feeser.

Ed graduated from Gettysburg High School and served in the U.S. Navy, with an Honorable Discharge.

He was employed by the Maryland State Highway Administration for 32 years and was retired as Resident Maintenance Engineer of Frederick. Ed attended Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church in Frederick with his wife.

For many summers, Ed enjoyed fishing with his buddy, John Haines. He also enjoyed traveling within the United States with his wife. Some of his favorite places were Albuquerque, New Mexico, Panama Canal, California, Nordic Hills Arcadia National Park, Prince Edward Island, and a cruise to Bermuda.

Ed was a great handy man and took pride in his home and property. He loved eating crabs with his family, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. His family and friends were very important to him, and he lived a long, beautiful, and productive life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Nadine Morningstar; sister-in-law, Dorothy B. Feeser; step-daughter, Tamara Cashour and her husband, Amir Khan; step-son, Tom Cashour and his wife, Patty; great-grandchildren, Morgan Stremmel and Adrianna Wise; nieces, Linda Kampes and MaryLou Stonesifer; nephews, George C. Morningstar, Jr., and Gregory Frick; an aunt, Ethel Crowl; and cousins, Perry and Doug Crowl, and Shirley and Roy Lewis.

He was predeceased by his brother, David B. Feeser; and two sisters, Naomi R. Frick and Catherine S. Dew.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Graveside services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 27 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
