Edward W. Pearcy

Mr. Edward W. Pearcy, 80, of Frederick died on Monday April 21, 2008 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rosella M. Pearcy who died in 1993.
Born on March 26, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of the late Edd M. and Theresa Harold Pearcy.
Mr. Pearcy served in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was a lifetime optician.
Surviving are four children, Patty Keller and husband Ward of Shippensburg, PA., Linda Shively and husband Roger of Frederick, David Pearcy of Frederick and James Pearcy of Fairmont, WV. Grandchildren Jennifer, Tracy, Lisa, Stephanie, Laura, Jordan, Bradley, Matthew, Kimberleigh and Tyler. Great Grandchildren Brittanie, Cory, Jayda, Caden, Mckenzie and JJ. Mr. Pearcy was preceded in death by a grandson Christopher Long.
Immediately following the interment there will be a reception held at the Dearbought Club House, Frederick.
Visitation: Friends may call on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. Immediately following the interment there will be a reception held at the Dearbought Club House, Frederick.
