Edward {Regis} Dowling

Edward Regis Dowling, 45 of Brunswick, Maryland passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008. He was the husband of Dollie Dowling.

Born January 21, 1963 in McKeesport, PA he was the son of Edward Dowling of Middletown, MD and the late Patricia F. Dowling.

Regis was a member of the Potomac Believer's Fellowship Church in Brunswick.

Regis was a pressman for 20 years. His passion was to open his own restaurant and to cook the food that he loved to eat. He loved playing and coaching his kids in all sports. He had a true love for the outdoors, including fishing, water skiing, tubing, being on the river and Deep Creek Lake. Regis had a big heart and a big stomach and he would do anything for anyone. He was a true kid at heart. He also loved his dog Dobie.

In addition to his wife Dollie and his father Edward he was the father of four wonderful children, Christina, Jonathan, Matthew and Tyler. He is also survived by his brother, Allan and wife Ruth Dowling of Woodlawn, TN, David and wife Candice Dowling of Germantown, MD and a sister Debbie and husband Will Haberkorn of Middletown, MD and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly.


Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Friday, July 25, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9PM.

Services: A memorial service will be held at the Potomac Believer's Fellowship Church, 1200 Maple Ave., Brunswick on Saturday, July 26 at 10:00 AM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Potomac Believer's Fellowship Church, 1200 North Maple Ave., Brunswick, MD 21716.
