Edward Weedon

Mr. Edward "Rodie" Weedon, 82 of Hagerstown, MD, formerly of Frederick, MD, passed onto the next life, Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Hagerstown, MD.
Born July 20, 1933 in Frederick, MD he was the son of the late Ernest" Webb" and Alice Weedon.
Rodie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Moxley Concrete prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his brothers, Harvey Weedon (York, PA), Donald Weedon (Adamstown,MD), Leroy Weedon (Frederick, MD); sisters Mildred Holland (Adamstown, MD), Mary Overs (Frederick, MD); sons Sherman Weedon (Waynsboro, PA), Marty Weedon (Hagerstown, MD) Bruce Weedon (Frederick, MD) Todd Weedon, Sr.(Adamstown, MD); daughters Vickie Ballou (Hagerstown, MD) and Tia Diggs (Richmond, VA); 20 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother James Weedon, Sr., two sons Dale and Kermit Weedon and a grandson Todd Weedon, Jr. and grandson Darnell Bowens.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 2-3PM where a memorial service will begin at 3PM.

Interment will be private.
