Edward John “Ed” Karl, Jr., 61, of Frederick, Maryland, died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at his home.
Born December 2, 1953 in Edwardsville, Illinois, he was the son of the late Rita Christine (Boehm) and Edward John Karl.
He was active with the Family Service Foundation in Frederick, MD.
Ed is survived by his sister, Sheryl Anders and husband, John, of Mt. Airy, MD; nephews, Christopher John Anders and wife, Amy, of Brookeville, MD and Marcus Karl Anders and wife, Catherine, of Baltimore, MD; grandnephews, Brayden and Caleb; grandniece, Vivienne; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Illinois.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Burial will be in Staunton, Illinois at a later date.
