Edward Collins

Edward Frank Collins, 90, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on January 13, 2019. He was the husband of 44 years to the late Nellie Blanche Collins.
Born on June 23, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Thomas P. and Adaline K. (Hunsburger) Collins. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 37 years until his retirement. He enjoyed reading, word puzzles and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Nancy L. Little-Opeka (Tony), Tracey L. Trumbull (Mike) and James T. Collins (Robin); grandchildren, Bobby Little, Katrina Little-Warner (Bobby), Kelsie Anderson (Brett), Tyler Trumbull, Courtney Collins and Mathew Collins and one great-grandson, Bryce Anderson.
The family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.
The funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, January 21, 2019. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Parklawn Cemetery.
