Edward Clipp, Jr.

Born August 2, 1967, in Hagerstown, Maryland, he is the son of Mary Louise (Coulter) Horman and her husband Jerry, of Germantown, Maryland and the late Edward Lee Clipp, Sr.  His wife, Pam Clipp, preceded him in death.

Eddie attended Williamsport schools before his family relocated to Hope, Arkansas.

He was employed as a crane operator for Maryland Metals in Hagerstown.

Eddie was a member of the Boonsboro Volunteer Fire Department and the Teamsters Local Union #992.  He was also a member of the Brownsville Church of Brethren in Brownsville, Maryland.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting and will be deeply missed by his family.

He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Ann Clipp of Frederick; one son, Tyler L. Clipp, Sr. and his fiancé Kayla of Hagerstown; one daughter, Matia L. Clipp of Pennsylvania; one brother, O'Byrne J.D. Clipp and his wife Amy of Hagerstown, Maryland; two sisters, Wendy L. Clipp and Robin A. Livingston and her husband William, all of Hagerstown; one grandson, Tyler Lee Clipp, Jr., of Hagerstown; and several nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his two best friends, Glenn Hanes of Yarrowsburg, Maryland, and Tim Parker of Boonsboro, Maryland; and many other good friends, including his true best friend, his mother.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road, Brownsville, Maryland. Rev. Alan M. Smith will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Brownsville Heights Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, as well as one hour prior to the funeral ceremony at the church.
