Edward Brandenburg

Mr. Edward Lee Brandenburg, 69, of Frederick , died on Monday August 22, 2011 at his home. He was the companion of Robin E. Clingan.
Born on November 26, 1941 in Frederick , he was the son of the late Rufus and Anna Margaret Werking Brandenburg .
He worked as an Engineering Research Technician for the National Bureau of Standards. He also worked for Frederick County Roads. He was a member of South End Baptist Church, Citizen Truck Co., Independent Hose Co., Owls Club, the Eagles of Brunswick and a past member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Also surviving is his former wife, Connie Stalnaker of Frederick . Daughters, Kimber Shank (Randall) and Kelly Webb all of Frederick . Grandchildren; Ashley Shank, Stephanie Shank, Christopher Webb and Kristin Webb. Twice married, he is also survived by his second wife, Terry Pryor and her daughters Jennifer and Amber and one son Edward L. Brandenburg Jr. of Brunswick and grandson, Isaiah Brandenburg . He was preceded in death by a son in law, Carl E. Webb.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 25 from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick , Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday August 26, in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery .
